Turn Order - Recollection Phase

General Rules:

  1. State-based effects are checked: If any effects cause a change in the game state, the turn player gains Opportunity after each ability pending resolution is placed onto the Effects Stack. The phase will continue to the next step after the Effects Stack is empty.

    1. During this step, any “beginning of recollection” abilities will enter the Effects Stack.

  2. Opportunity: After the Effects Stack is empty, the turn player will immediately gain Opportunity. This is the last time players may act before the recollection of cards in the memory zone will take place as a turn-based action.

  3. Turn-based Action: After the Effects Stack is empty and all players have passed Opportunity in succession in step 2, the turn player returns all cards in their memory zone to their hand as a turn-based game action that can’t be responded to. This is called recollection.

  4. State-based effects are checked: If any effects cause a change in the game state, the turn player gains Opportunity after each ability pending resolution is placed onto the Effects Stack. The phase will continue to the next step after the Effects Stack is empty.

  5. The game moves to the Draw phase.
